A well-done delivered survey to a correct audience is a key to your product and service improvement. In this article we explained how to create and send your survey to the contacts, now we want to dive deep into the types of questions the surveys offer and how to use them.

What are the questions available for me in surveys?

We give you different types of survey questions to make your experience with Customerly as flexible as possible. You can choose these types of questions:

  • Multiple choices (button)

  • Multiple choices (radio)

  • Dropdown

  • Scale

  • Rating

  • Number

  • Short text

  • Long text

Now, let's talk about each question type in detail.

Multiple choices (button)

You can select a single option among multiple options with the button.

Multiple choices (radio)

You can select a single option among multiple options with the radial button.

Dropdown

You can select a single option among multiple options from a list of options in the dropdown menu.

Scale Rating

The scale type question allows you to select an answer from any range (e.g., from 1 to 100). You can select any number you think suits the best for your question. It can measure satisfaction, agreement with the statement.

Star Rating

You can rate on a five-star rating scale where a higher number is a better score.

Number

The number rating allows you to manually rate, for example, the customer support quality by any number from 0 to 100.

Short text

With the short text question type, your customer is limited to a short answer.

Long text

With the long text question type, your customer is limited to a long answer.
