Set up custom domain in your Help Center

If you want to use your custom domain or subdomain for your knowledge base platform, this is the right place to start. 

Why choosing to set a custom subdomain or domain is important for my business?

A custom domain will make you recognizable on the internet and the people will find you easier with it since the custom domain you set up, will be unique to your service. Isn't awesome?

Let's start by customizing the URL in your Help Center Settings.

•  Setup your Default help center URL:

  eg. yourprojectname.customerly.help

• Setup your Custom help center location (this is your full domain + subdomain)

  eg. docs.yourprojectdomain.com

• Save the settings in the top right corner

• Now open your DNS manager and create a new CNAME. Check how to set up your Help Center domain with:

  • Namecheap

  • GoDaddy

  • AWS Route 53
