Learn how you can verify the Help Center custom domain with Namecheap
If you are ready to verify your Help Center custom domain with Namecheap, here is what you need to do:
First, you need to go to settings and set up your custom domain in there. Check this article on how to do it.
Then, once you set up your custom Help Center domain (for example docs.yourprojectdomain.com ), click on "Save settings" button. You will see the yellow message under custom domain: "We are deploying your SSL certificate, hang on, it will take around 20 minutes".
After setting up settings in Customerly, go to the Namecheap account. Click on "Domain list" on the left sidebar.
Select your domain and click on "Manage".
You will be brought to details page, click on "Advanced DNS"
Click on "Add new record"
Select CNAME Record from the list.
In the Host field add your subdomain (help, for example) and the Target will be ssl.customerly.help. Click on a green check mark after all steps are done.
In about 20- 30 minutes, the record will be verified, and you will see in the Help Center settings.
