What user data Customerly tracks

This is what we track on your behalf to provide the service you use

At Customerly your customer data privacy is key. This is what we collect automatically every time a person interacts with you.

This is what we store as persistent data on our database if the information is available.

  • user_id: A unique identifier if provided from your end.

  • email: an email address provided either by you or your leads via chat, or mobile SDK.

  • name: the contact name provided by you or by your contact.

  • last_page_viewed: The URL of the last page viewed is automatically collected from the live chat

  • last_page_viewed_at: A date timestamp is collected automatically when the contact visited a page.

  • IP Address: we store the IP address for security purposes and define the user's approximate location to give you this info.

  • Timezone: The current timezone is based on their browser or device setting.

  • Latitude: The latitude is calculated from the IP address reverse lookup.

  • Longitude: The longitude is calculated from the IP address reverse lookup.

  • City: approximate city calculated from the IP address reverse lookup.

  • Postal code: approximate postal code calculated from the IP address reverse lookup.

  • Region: approximate region calculated from the IP address reverse lookup.

  • Country: approximate country calculated from the IP address reverse lookup.

  • Country Code: approximate country code calculated from the IP address reverse lookup.

  • ISP: Name of the ISP used by the contact.

  • Browser Name: The name of the browser used by the contact.

  • Browser Version: The version of the browser used by the contact.

  • Browser Language: The language of the browser used by the contact.

  • OS: The operating system used by the contact returned by their browser.

  • OS Version: The operating system version used by the contact returned by their browser.

  • Web session: Number of the sessions the same user has been active on your assets.

  • First time seen at: A date UNIX timestamp of the first time we have seen this contact.

  • Bounce: The status of the email (Bounced soft or hard)

  • Unsubscribe: The status of the subscription of the contact

  • Spam: A flag if you mark the contact as spam.

  • Last activity: A date UNIX timestamp of the last time you have interacted with this contact.

  • UTMs: any UTM fetched automatically from web live chat if you enabled the tracking in the settings.

  • Referrer: the referrer is a domain fetched by the live chat if present.

Only fetched if you are using an Android SDK:

  • Android App Name: The name of your app is fetched via Android SDK.

  • Android App Version: The version of your android app is fetched via Android SDK.

  • Android Device: The device name (eg. OnePlus IN2023 (OnePlus8Pro))

  • Android OS Version: The OS version of Android.

  • Android session: the number of sessions of the user on the same Android device.

  • Android last seen at: A date UNIX timestamp of the last time we have seen this contact.

Only fetched if you are using an iOS SDK:

  • iOS App Name: The name of your app is fetched via iOS SDK.

  • iOS App Version: The version of your android app is fetched via iOS SDK.

  • iOS Device: The device name (eg. iPhone 13 Pro Max)

  • iOS OS Version: The OS version of Android.

  • iOS session: the number of sessions of the user on the same Android device.

  • iOS last seen at: A date UNIX timestamp of the last time we have seen this contact.
