When you do email marketing, you need to make sure you constantly track the performance of your emails and improve them by analyzing the clicks executed by the contacts.

The heatmap gives you a visual representation of where your contacts click on the email and the number of those clicks.

This is how the heatmap works: the heatmap tracks how many times a specific place within the email has been clicked. If you added CTAs (call to action buttons), and URLs and they have been clicked by your contacts, the number of clicks will be shown in a pop-up as you can see on the screenshot below.

What are the benefits of the Heatmap feature?
The Click-through rate measures the number of unique contacts who clicked on a link or CTA button. Whereas each clicked link counts the total number of clicks in the email.

The percentage you see is the percentage of the number of clicks that happened on the email in different places of the email structure.
